Energy Lesson 3 : Generating Michigan's Electricity

Formative Assessment: Have students draw the supply chain with at least six steps from resource to generation including all of the transportation/distribution links.

1. Have students make and illustrate a pamphlet explaining five ways electricity is generated in Michigan.

2. Assign students to make a poster comparing the energy resources used to generate electricity in Michigan, the United States, and the world and describe how the resource mixes are similar and different.
