Land Use Lesson 8 Extension : Brownfields and Greenfields

Give each student the Community Map Analysis student assessment and ask them to complete the following task.

The greenfield and brownfield are both being considered for recreational fields. The brownfield is an abandoned broom factory. There is no polluted soil. The greenfield is a farm field. Some people believe the greenfield is the best site. Others believe the brownfield is the best site.
