Energy Resource - Lesson 1 : Energy Use in Michigan - Then and Now

1. Have students make an “Energy Past and Present Poster” comparing their everyday energy uses to

those of their grandparents when they were their age. Students should also describe how and why

energy consumption in Michigan has changed over the past 100 years.

2. Assign students to make a chart comparing the energy used in Michigan to that used in the United States.
