Energy Lesson 8 : Leaving Smaller Footprints

Remind students to complete the entries and answer the questions in My Environmental Diary. Handout copies of What Is Your Ecological Footprint? and have students complete the advanced preparation section. (Students determine square footage of their living space and the average miles per gallon of their family’s primary car, if they have one. Students examine the food in their home and estimate the percent that is grown locally.)
