Ecosystems and Biodiversity Lesson 3 : Ecosystems

1. Prepare a small amount (1-2 tbsp.) of water in cups or bowls to distribute one to each group of students.

2. If conducting Step 3 of this lesson indoors, make sure you have one small healthy houseplant for each group of students. Keep in mind that stomata are easiest to observe on sunny days, when plants are most likely to be carrying out photosynthesis at full capacity.
