1. Describe major historical events that determined how Michigan ecosystems came to exist as they do today.

2. Identify examples of historical events as having positive or negative effects on Michigan’s ecosystems.

3. Provide examples of individuals and organizations that could be considered role models demonstrating good stewardship of Michigan ecosystems.
