Ecosystems and Biodiversity Lesson 9 : Most Wanted - Invaders of the Great Lakes Region
1. Students identify one way that each of the following people could help prevent the spread of invasive species: gardener, angler, camper, tourist, and cargo ship captain.
2. Evaluate student response to step 3 for evidence of understanding. Teacher may decide to develop a rubric, depending on the nature of the assignment.
3. Have students work individually or in small groups to create a concept map illustrating what they know about invasive species.
