Students work in small groups with each group member responsible for creating two slides for the group presentation.
Students learn to use Google maps, then explore virtual map resources for geolocation to chart a course from home to school, and the the difference between absolute and relative location.
Students use virtual games and mazes for learning about different subjects.

Students create a music playlist spreadsheet, learning to sort, rename, freeze rows, delete and undo, and add sheets
Use Column, Row, Cell, Header in a spreadsheet activity
Format a spreadsheet: align text, highlight cells, add a border, fit contents, insert rows and cells, merge cells, change font size and type
Use spreadsheet functions and formulas: sum, count, max, min, ave
Learn about charts, chart types, and create one
Share settings for the Spreadsheet
Collect data from a virtual spinner, download a template, use formulas and analyze the data, then predict the outcome.
Students learn about box and whiskers graphs to analyze data and create two models.

Explore how social networking is impacting others through an interesting video, learn about privacy settings, and the importance of protecting your identity,
Students review information about how social networks are being used, and sharing of personal information online. This requires a FREE PBS account.
Students build an understanding of the role social networking may have when applying for a job. Taking a survey, viewing a slideshow while taking notes, reviewing rules of the road article and slideshow. Changing their role to an employer that has to write a letter of rejection is part of the learning.
Students evaluate the use of snapchat through a roleplay, make a decision based on resources about its use.
Students produce a social media contract with guidelines based on readings online, and create a Social Media contract poster.
