So you finished recording your podcast, now what? There are a few different options but one is to sign up for an account on anchor.fm.

While there are several platforms to record your podcast, many people use Zoom when doing an interview style because of its familiarity and functionality. Not only does it provide you the option of video and audio but has some built in settings to help you get the best possible recording.

Although we think of podcasting generally as audio only, we often record interviews via video which then begs the question should I simply focus on audio or do I also make a video recording as well?

The Fraction Equality Lab allows students to experiment with fractions by creating equivalent fractions. Different shapes are used as well as a number line. When the game is played students select a level and match equivalent fractions. The higher the level the more challenging it will be.

The math learning center is an app and online platform that allows students to use manipulatives virtually. In this activity, students will show equivalent fractions using lines and shapes.

Providing them with a task, having them poll their peers, and then using the analyzed data to inform their decisions is sure to keep them engaged.

Students can add to their notes outside of school. This is great because teachers can now send absent students the missed notes for the day. Teachers can simply take a picture of their notes from the board or powerpoint and save it under today’s date. Then, teachers can share it out to students so they receive the notes right away. Any teacher can use this, but recommended for 3rd-12th grades.

The Number Pieces Basic app helps students develop a deeper understanding of place value while building their competition skills with multi-digit numbers. Students can use the number pieces to represent multi-digit numbers, count, regroup, add, and subtract. The drawing tools allow students to label representations and show their understanding numbers and math concepts.

Shapes surround us every day! Can you find some? Students will use their iPad or Chromebook to take a picture of everyday shapes they see

The Geoboard app gets students in elementary school involved in the shape creation process. Using virtual pegs and rubber bands, students stretch the bands around the pegs to learn about different shapes and concepts such as area and angles. Different colors of rubbers bands allow students to distinguish between shapes and explore multiple concepts on the same peg board. Students will use this app to explore shapes, sides, corners, and build items using the shapes they learn.

Students will create a world on Minecraft. They will learn how to farm and eat on Minecraft while learning how to use the game's tools.

In this activity, students will explore how climate affects the land, people, and animals around them as well as other regions across the globe. Students will use NASAClimateKids to participate in independent research, ask and answer questions, and record information. Students will relay their findings to the class using Voki by creating an animated video report on the topic.

Students will create a world on Minecraft. They will eat, explore, and tell the difference between creative, survival, and exploration modes while placing and destroying blocks.

It is a lot of fun to create music and Incredibox makes it easy using a beatbox technique along with dragging and dropping sound icons on different characters to create music. Students can easily create a music track in seconds and download it as background music in a project. The track can be use for private use, non-commercial projects and student projects.

Infographics are graphic visual representations of information, data or knowledge intended to present information quickly and clearly. They are fun to create and students will be engaged in the creative process of presenting their information in an interactive visual form.

Extra Reading provides 35 FREE reading passages that can be downloaded. Each one focuses on a specific skill or strategy. Students are involved in reading, writing, and some game playing. Quizzes are provided.

Students will finish their learning about explorers by using pictures, text, and other information to create a logo in Canva.

Begin the week’s vocabulary words with a short 10-15 question round of Quizizz (in live mode). After round one, do a mini-lesson on common mistakes and then give the quiz again to see tremendous growth. Continue reps throughout the week for mastery.
