1. Have students write an essay or prepare posters on what ozone nonattainment means to Michigan (or to their community if it is in nonattainment).
2. Provide students with information on the EPA Designates Seven Michigan Counties As PM2.5 Nonattainment Areas student assessment and the student reading on Particle Pollution. Have them answer the question: What should be done about the PM2.5 problem in the Detroit area?
