Energy Lesson 2 : Michigan's Energy Resource Mix
Students use pictures, graphs, and a map to identify the kinds of energy we use in Michigan, differentiate between renewable and non-renewable energy resources, and identify the sources of Michigan’s energy resources.
Students answer these essential questions: What is the difference between renewable and non-renewable energy resources? Which energy resources does Michigan use? Where does Michigan get its energy resources and how are they transported?
