Review Game Zone is a free online interactive game that helps prepare the students for tests and quizzes. Teacher generated study questions are inserted into the school game to help reinforce classroom learning and test preparation for students.

Students will use the Rhythm experiment on Google's Musiclab Chrome Music Lab to create a rhythm. Students will then use the rhythm they created to write three fraction questions and answer them.

New York City in the 1860s was a mess: crowded, disgusting, filled with garbage. You see, way back in 1860, there were no subways, just cobblestone streets. That is, until Alfred Ely Beach had the idea for a fan-powered train that would travel underground. On February 26, 1870, after fifty-eight days of drilling and painting and plastering, Beach unveiled his masterpiece—and throngs of visitors took turns swooshing down the track. The resource includes a lesson plan/book card, a design challenge, and copy of a design thinking journal that provide guidance on using the book to inspire students' curiosity for design thinking. Maker Challenge: Think about the way most people in your community travel. Invent a new way of traveling around your community that takes into account the following: helpful to the community, economical to those who use it, convenient for users. What would your new travel system look like? Sketch a new design, and then create a physical prototype of the new design to scale. Keep in mind: Where the system travels, how it is powered, why it is helpful to the community, and any features that make it special.

Students will demonstrate learning by designing a slide using a collaborative presentation tool, such as Google Slides. Students may choose to use words, images, GIFS, or a combination of these in order to showcase their understanding of a given topic

Using Google Earth, the students will create a tour of a particular region, country, or feature (urban v. rural, communities). Students will learn more about different regions and their features through the different views of Google Earth.

Selfie Stickers is an online tool or app where students can modify their favorite photos. They will have fun using the stickers to make hilarious creations by adding them to their selfies. This is a good website to begin talking about altering photos and pictures online.

The Sequencing Stories task card is for educators to help students story write using the sequential order of events with pictures geared toward a known story. With practice, students will be able to create their own story by drawing pictures or by using picture resources to sequence them in the order of events and write complete sentences to match the pictures until the story is complete.

Students start learning the tools and features in Google Drawings by first creating shapes to design a monster. They can then advance the use of Drawings to create and label shapes to insert into their projects.

Google Drive is a web based application that incorporates a system of file sharing. Word processing documents, spreadsheets, and slideshow presentations can be shared and edited with users whether they have a Google account or not. Document owners set the level of access for regulating permission for others to view, comment and/ or edit documents that are shared.

Teach students why they should NEVER share personal information on the computer, including passwords

Students enjoy being proficient in using technology shortcuts and teaching the skill to others. Some shortcuts are fairly common across all devices and applications and others are specific to a device. Being familiar with shortcuts helps students transfer the skill to other applications and devices.

Wordsift is a free online tool where teachers and/or students copy text and put relevant vocabulary words into a word cloud. Unlike WORDLE OR TAGXEDO, where ALL the words are put into a cloud, Wordsift “sifts” through the text and looks at more important academic vocabulary and creates word clouds with the key vocabulary. It can also highlight words for various content areas.

Students will practice their sight words for reading fluency and then create their own book of sight words.
