The Day of the Dead helps Mexican families celebrate their dead loved ones. The Day of the Dead combines the ancient Aztec custom of celebrating ancestors with All Souls' Day. It is celebrated in Mexico and many Latin American countries on November 1 and 2. Students will learn about the history of this day by researching the topic and then writing a short paragraph that includes copyright free images to share with their teacher.
